Prof. Dr. Xiao Huang

Dr. Xiao Huang is a professor at Hunan University of Medicine. He received his MD degree from Ningbo University in 2011 and PhD degree from Chongqing University in 2014. Subsequently, he joined School of Sports and Health Science, Tongren University. Then he joined Hunan University of Medicine in 2023. He is now working in the field of biomedical engineering to develop various smart drug/gene delivery as well as sports nanomedicine to regulate the physiological balance in exercise. His scientific work has been published as more than 40 papers in prestigious journals (International of Biological Macromolecules, Advances in Nano Research, International Journal of Nanomedicine, etc.), 3 monographs and 9 patents. The awards he received include high level innovative talents (Guizhou Province, 2016), patent award for health and family planning system (Wanzhou Chongqing, 2015). Now he is serving as invited reviewers for several journals including Redox Biogogy, Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials, Acta Biomaterialia. etc
